How to light a wood burning stove

All you need to be able to light a stove first time is a good stacking technique and an understanding of the air controls. The video below shows how to light a stove using a criss-cross formation of kindling. The video shows the use of a fire lighter, however scrunched up newspaper will work just as well. In the video a Di Lusso R6 is used, if you are lighting a more traditional stove with air sliders the primary air is the slider at the bottom of the stove and the secondary air is at the top, these should be used in the same way as the air control cassette in the Di Lusso R6.
